Role Overview The Delivery Lead - Senior Java Full Stack Developer will lead the technical execution and delivery of Java-based full-stack solutions. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership, collaboration, and responsibility for successful phased delivery.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Development
• Lead the technical execution of software engineering solutions in alignment with business requirements and engineering standards. • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering resources. • Contribute to the development and delivery of full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React and/or Angular, and SQL . • Promote and maintain best practices across coding, testing, and deployment. • Keep up to date with relevant AI innovations and applicable engineering practices. Collaboration
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritise technical deliverables. • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure features are delivered within agreed timelines. • Follow the defined Connect Way of Work . Phased Delivery
• Manage technical delivery across phased rollouts. • Coordinate technical dependencies and delivery timelines across different phases. • Support the delivery of new partner integrations and customer segments. Testing & Deployment
• Ensure the adoption of automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing . • Participate in CI/CD pipeline management. • Support reliable and consistent software delivery and deployment. Documentation
• Create and maintain technical documentation relating to code, systems, and processes. • Ensure documentation supports effective team collaboration, ongoing maintenance, and compliance requirements. Required Technical Skills
