A well-established law firm based in Lynnwood is seeking an experienced Defended Litigation Secretary to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within defended foreclosure matters, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and processing legal documentation under attorney supervision
  • Preparing motions, pleadings, notices, sheriff’s letters, and litigation-related documents
  • Managing and maintaining legal case files and documentation
  • Handling general administrative duties within the litigation department
  • Coordinating court filings, court appearances, and reporting processes
  • Liaising professionally with clients, defendants, legal professionals, and third parties
  • Ensuring all matters are updated, organised, and handled within required deadlines

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Litigation Secretary role
  • Previous experience in defended foreclosure matters
  • Experience working with bank litigation matters will be advantageous
  • Proficient in:

  • CACS
  • GhostPractice
  • Caselines
  • Strong dictation typing skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple matters simultaneously
