- We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join the team and turn complex data into meaningful, scalable business solutions. Position based in the East Rand.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys combining machine learning, statistical modelling, data engineering and storytelling to solve real-world business challenges.
- You will work with large and complex datasets, develop predictive models, engineer meaningful features and translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Duties
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems
- Perform statistical analysis and identify trends and patterns
- Design and implement effective feature engineering approaches
- Work with data warehouses and multiple data sources
- Build, test, validate and refine predictive models
- Analyse model performance and continuously improve solutions
- Communicate complex analytical findings through compelling data storytelling
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related quantitative field
- A postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning or a related discipline would be advantageous
- Relevant professional certifications in data science, machine learning or cloud technologies would be beneficial
