Data Processing & Analytics Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process, clean, analyse and interpret large-scale datasets relating to markets, freight, logistics, trade and transport .
• Develop data models and analytical frameworks to assess market demand, capacity, utilisation and growth scenarios .
• Conduct scenario analysis and quantitative modelling to support feasibility and investment assessments.
• Integrate datasets from multiple sources to develop a comprehensive evidence base for the project.
• Analyse freight flows, logistics patterns, transport movements and relevant market trends.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support the development of data-driven assumptions, forecasts and sensitivity analyses.
• Identify data gaps, trends and opportunities relevant to the viability and future positioning of the infrastructure project.
• Collaborate with economists, transport specialists, infrastructure professionals and other technical consultants.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related quantitative discipline .
• Minimum 5 years' experience in large-scale data processing, data modelling and analytics.
• Proven experience in scenario analysis, forecasting and quantitative modelling .
• Experience working with and integrating market, freight, logistics, supply chain or transport datasets .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in relevant data analytics, modelling, database and visualisation tools.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.

Advantageous

• Experience within infrastructure, transport, logistics, supply chain, economic development or feasibility studies .
• Exposure to intermodal transport, freight corridors or inland logistics platforms .
• Experience supporting investment cases, business cases or project bankability assessments.
