- To capture incoming clinical related data on client rendered services from the mobile and outreach teams; maintain electronic database/s for data captured; check data correctness, completeness, consistency and verify data by liaising with relevant staff and performing routine data quality checks and assessments.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 coupled with one of more years related experience and/or training in HIV AIDS and STI programmes; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificate in database management
- Experience in capturing data, maintaining and/or updating databases
- Data analysis which includes the whole data management process
- 3 years' experience with HIV, AIDS and STI programme data
- TIER.Net and information management background
- Proficiency in English and a local language
- Valid driver's licence
Duties and Responsibilities
- Neatly file PrEP client folders at the regional office.
- Retrieve client folders based on schedules provided by clinical staff
- Update client information and enter newly initiated clients on the CommCare database
- Capture data at catchment facilities where required on Tier.net PrEP module
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports, verifying data and populating weekly and monthly trackers
- Assist with the HTS, PPPREV and PrEP RDQAs as determined by M&E department
- Assist with data verifications incl. HTS and PrEP
- Assist M&E Coordinator in providing monthly data to THC management, DoH / partners / stakeholders
- Assist to update results from NHLS on PrEP files/ database
- Capture clients from PPPREV interventions on the PPPREV database
- Assist Data Monitors to ensure every client signed the intervention registers and POPIA consent form
- Attend workshops, meetings and trainings as required.
- Attend weekly QI meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance to POPIA and THC related SoPs.
