The role entails in ensuring that all relevant applicant information is accurately and confidentially documented. Key Responsibilities Accurately capture and update application information on the supplied digital device or system. Verify the completeness and correctness of applicant forms and supporting documents prior to data entry. Assist applicants and community members during with the application and data capture process. Provide clear, accessible information to community members, processes required documentation. Maintain confidentiality and security of all applicant data, in line with policies and data protection legislation. Liaise with direct supervisor and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and address any application discrepancies. Capture a minimum of 30-35 applications per day, consistently striving to meet or exceed daily targets. Generate and submit accurate daily or weekly reports on data captured. Support awareness and information-sharing initiatives related to social support programs. Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification. 1–3 years' experience in data capture, administration, community engagement, or a related role. Competencies and skills Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency with computers, digital devices, and data capture applications. Tech-savvy, with the ability to confidently use digital devices and applications for data collection and reporting. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist and explain processes to community members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic problem-solving skills and sound judgment. Fluency in English and at least one local language.
