Our international client with offices in Cape Town, is looking for a Data Operator to play a key role in maintaining the quality, accuracy and reliability of their datasets. This is a detail-driven position where you will capture, maintain and validate data from a range of relevant sources. Your attention to detail, consistency and sound judgement will directly influence the quality of the data and products the wider business relies on. Detail: REQUIREMENTS Matric, relevant qualification highly advantageous Strong, sustained attention to detail during repetitive and high-volume work Sound research and problem-solving: verifies before trusting, investigates before escalating; researches and makes informed decisions with good justification Clear written and spoken English Good time management and self-organisation Takes ownership of tasks end to end; asks for support appropriately; works well in a team Comfortable learning new tools and adapting as processes change Confident with computers and everyday digital tools DUTIES Capture and maintain data across relevant sources to a high standard of accuracy and completeness, including regular accommodation price and availability updates Apply quality assurance to your own work; identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and gaps Research and verify data across multiple sources Gather market intelligence to support the development of the dataset Observe and analyse data changes across the student accommodation sector Follow data guidelines, processes, and quality assurance checks consistently Resolve issues independently where possible; escalate promptly when not Organise your workload to meet deadlines without compromising quality Communicate updates, questions, and blockers clearly; document your work for others to follow Support dataset-related projects and other areas of the business during busy periods, as needed Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
