Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and enhance interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Interpret business data to identify trends, opportunities and performance insights.
- Query, prepare and validate data using SQL to support reporting needs.
- Partner with business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions.
- Turn complex data into clear recommendations that support business decisions.
- Improve data accuracy by identifying inconsistencies and recommending process enhancements.
- Promote effective data governance and compliance with data privacy standards.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI, including dashboard development and data modelling.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality and reporting best practices.
- Knowledge of POPIA and secure handling of sensitive information.
- Advantageous: Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Power Platform, Python or R.
- Advantageous: Exposure to financial services, lending, fintech or other regulated industries.
Package & Remuneration
30 000 - 50 000 CTC dependant on level and experience
