We are looking for a highly analytical and detail oriented Data Analyst to optimize fleet operations.The ideal candidate will transform raw fleet , fuel and operational data into actionable insights that reduce costs and improve efficiency
Duties & Responsibilities
- Extract , clean and analyze large datasets from fleet tracking systems (Mix Telematics/ Ctrack/ Nestar), fuel cards and Transport Management systems.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports for fuel consumption , driver behaviour, vehicle utilization and cost per kilometer
- Identify trends, route deviations, excessive idiling and fuel anomalies
- Analze maintenace costs and vehicle downtime in collaboration with the fleet and workshop teams
- Conduct cost benefit analysis on routes, tolls and trip profitability
- Prepare clear visual reports and presentations for senior management
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelors Degree / National Diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics Mathematics, Information Systems or Logistics/Supply Chain
- 2-3 years minimum experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in transport , logistics or fleet management
- Advanced Excel - Power Query, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas - Non Negotiable
- Proficency in BI Tools: Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation
- Experience with telematics data (Mix, Ctrack, Nestar, Webfleet) is a major advantage
- Basic SQL knowledge will be an added advantage
