Location: Pretoria East, Gauteng Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: R50,000 CTC per month, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Ergasia Placements is recruiting an experienced Data Analyst on behalf of our client, a dynamic organisation seeking a strong analytical professional to take ownership of data integrity and the flow of data across its operational systems. This is an advanced-level role offering genuine accountability and exposure across multiple areas of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, validating and coordinating data movement to ensure continuity, prevent data loss and proactively identify and manage operational risks. Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have

• 5+ years' experience in a Data Analyst or operational data management role.

• A relevant qualification in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance or a related field .

• Proven experience monitoring and managing data flows within operational systems.

• Strong knowledge of data governance, quality controls and risk management .

• Advanced SQL proficiency for data interrogation, validation and reporting.

• Experience with workflow analysis and operational reporting.

• Experience working with ERP, CRM or business management systems .

• Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau .

• The ability to identify operational shortfalls, develop practical solutions and communicate findings effectively to management.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor end-to-end data flow across operational systems to ensure continuity and accuracy.

• Analyse and manage workflow reports to track operational performance and data movement.

• Provide management with clear reporting on data status, pipelines and workflow performance.

• Identify shortfalls within defined parameters and recommend practical solutions.

• Implement controls designed to prevent data loss within operational processes.

• Assess, document and manage data-related risks across systems and workflows.

• Coordinate data processes between departments.

• Validate incoming and outgoing data for completeness, accuracy and consistency.

• Develop and maintain data flow maps, documentation and control frameworks.

• Monitor system integrations and identify anomalies or discrepancies timeously.

• Conduct root-cause analysis on data errors and implement corrective measures.

• Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance requirements.

• Recommend improvements to data flow efficiency and overall system reliability.
