Data Analyst

Description

Seeking an experienced Data Analyst to analyse data, optimise business processes, and develop accurate reports and dashboards. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Act as the company's SYSPRO Subject Matter Expert and first point of contact for system-related queries

• Analyse, improve, and optimise business processes within SYSPRO

• Support and train end-users across all departments

• Maintain master data integrity, including inventory, suppliers, customers, BOMs, and product information

• Investigate and resolve system issues and process inefficiencies

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools

• Liaise with external SYSPRO service providers and IT teams regarding enhancements and system upgrades

• Assist with month-end and year-end processes

• Support inventory control, procurement, production planning, warehousing, and financial processes

• Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy

• Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training material

• Lead system improvement projects and support future ERP developments

Desired Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field

• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on SYSPRO experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

• Strong understanding of:

• Inventory Management

• Procurement

• Production & Work in Progress (WIP)

• Bill of Materials (BOMs)

• Sales & Distribution

• Financial Modules

• Experience generating reports and analysing operational data

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to train users and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience with SQL reporting and business intelligence tools will be advantageous
