Data Analyst

Introduction

One of our clients is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This is a remote position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Running and interpreting statistical and econometric models specifically with time series analysis

• Building and customising marketing effectiveness models to support client insight work

• Solving complex data and systems issues escalated from the wider Data team

• Manipulating data and databases: formatting, extracting, cleaning and structuring data at scale

• Take ownership of complex data investigations, modelling challenges and technical issues escalated by the wider Data Science team.

• Supporting and unblocking London-based senior analysts on technical workstreams, acting as a resource when workload needs to flex

• Quality-checking analysis and outputs produced by junior analysts, and mentoring them on econometric methods, with the potential to lead a small remote pod as the role and team grow

• Contributing to the development of a joined-up, full-user-path advertisement response analysis across online and offline channels

• Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive analytical tasks, and building those solutions

• Considering data privacy and security in all handling of company and client data

• Coordinating effectively with London-based teams, including clear written hand-offs since you won't be in the room for client discussions

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Economics or a related field

• 3+ years experience

• Modelling

• Data management

• SQL/ Python/ R

• Experience in the Financial Services/ Banking/ Insurance industry/ media/ marketing
