Full-time position | Location: Epping Industria, Cape Town
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious Cutter / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for accurate material cutting, stock handling and general warehouse duties while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
· Measure and cut materials accurately according to job specifications.
· Operate cutting equipment safely and report any faults.
· Receive, inspect, label, pack and dispatch stock.
· Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
· Load, unload and move stock safely within the warehouse. This includes off-loading containers.
· Assist with stock counts and report shortages or damaged goods.
· Keep the warehouse, work areas, tools and equipment clean and organised.
· Follow all health, safety and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
· Grade 10–12 or an equivalent qualification.
· Previous cutting and warehouse experience will be advantageous.
· Ability to read measurements and work accurately.
· Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
· Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team.
· Good verbal communication and basic numeracy skills.
· Willingness to work overtime when operationally required.
· A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
