Emerald Life Proprietary Limited is a licensed Micro Insurer specialising in Funeral Insurance. Emerald Life Proprietary Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clientèle Limited. We seek to recruit 2 energetic, multilingual, positive & self-motivated individuals to join our Customer Care Department in the capacity of Customer Care Consultants. The incumbents will be situated at our Head Office in Bellville & will work Mon-Fri 08h00am to 16h30pm.

Summary: Key duties & Responsibilities

· Inbound Calls:

o Assist & verify clients with queries relating to their funeral insurance policies.

o Assist clients with product information.

o Answer & assist with overflow Inbound calls, & when needed, transfer call to applicable department.

o Assist with advisor queries.

  • Outbound Calls:

• Confirmation of funeral insurance policies. • Verification of client information. • Ad hoc outbound campaigns.

  • General Admin:

• Audit of application forms that have been successfully captured. • Drafting of emails to communicate with clients and 3rd parties.

  • Record Keeping:

• Keeping record of all In-and Outbound calls and the outcome of each call.

· Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 or similar qualification is essential.

· Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English, Sotho, Pedi,

Tswana, Tsonga, isiXhosa & isiZulu is required.

· Additional Language(s) will be advantageous.

· Minimum 1 to 2 years’ proven experience in Customer Care & Funeral Insurance.

· Experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word & Outlook are required.
