Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
Your job responsibilities will be the following
- Identify and secure new customers across targeted industries.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads.
- Conduct customer visits and presentations.
- Prepare and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of service.
- Prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
- Review technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Follow up on quotations and tenders submitted.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Liaise with production, procurement and management teams regarding customer orders.
- Monitor project progress and provide customer feedback
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Matric
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar field – Advantageous.
Skills
- 3–5 years’ sales experience in the engineering, manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably in the rubber and metal space.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience reading engineering drawings and specifications will be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as:
- Machining
- Fabrication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Pastel or any other ERP system would be advantageous
Package & Remuneration
Salary/Package
R30,000 – R35,000 CTC PM
