- Join Woolworths as a Seasonal Stockroom Assistant in Country Road Group and be part of a leading retail team committed to exceptional customer service and efficient stock management. This role involves maintaining an organized and hygienic stockroom to optimize stock movement, processing returns and waste according to company policies, and supporting smooth store operations. Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12/ currently completing grade 12 or equivalent NQF.
- Previous experience in a retail or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods FMCG stockroom or receiving environment highly desirable
- Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as required by store operations
- Basic product knowledge relevant to stockroom inventory and retail merchandise
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal customers and team members
- Good numeracy and literacy skills to handle stock records and related documentation accurately
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures to maintain an organized, hygienic, and safe stockroom environment
- Demonstrated customer service orientation, including friendliness, responsiveness, and attention to customer needs
- Personal reliability and integrity, with a commitment to attendance, dress code, and ethical conduct in the workplace
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized, hygienic, and safe stockroom environment following company policies and OHASA standards.
- Efficiently process stock movements in compliance with Woolworths guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and courteously to internal customer requests and inquiries.
- Ensure accurate stock handling through basic product knowledge and adherence to inventory procedures to minimize shrinkage.
- Support store operations by keeping the sales floor and back areas clean, safe, and well-stocked;
- Observe and report any acts of dishonesty, shrinkage, or fraud to management or the designated hotline.
- Demonstrate personal leadership by adhering to attendance, dress code, and ethical standards consistently.
