A well-established organisation based in North Riding, Johannesburg is seeking a Creditors Clerk Assistant to join its General & Finance team.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and creditors support while assisting with purchasing, supplier administration, goods receipting, job file management and reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their experience within a finance and procurement environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Buyer with sourcing goods and services at competitive prices

• Assist with checking goods delivered against purchase orders

• Receipt goods on the Syspro accounting system

• Obtain and maintain supplier B-BBEE certificates and relevant company documentation

• Prepare new supplier portfolios for review and processing

• Track machine rental costs across various sites

• Maintain an up-to-date job list and prepare job files

• Compile various reports as required by the operations team

• Provide general administrative and creditors support as required

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Matric / Grade 12

• 2–3 years' creditors processing experience will be advantageous

• Experience with Syspro or another accounting system will be advantageous

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
