Company and Job Description
This role sits within a Finance and Risk team in a commercially focused environment, where managing credit exposure is key. You will support IFRS 9 compliance , contribute to ECL modelling , and provide analysis to guide strategic decision-making. Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support IFRS 9 impairment modelling and ECL calculations
- Perform stage classification (Stage 1–3) and monitor risk drivers
- Analyse credit portfolios, identifying trends and risk insights
- Assist in improving credit policies, scorecards, and frameworks
- Prepare credit risk reporting for key stakeholders
- Work with large datasets using Excel, SQL, or BI tool
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Newly qualified CA(SA) or equivalent (CFA advantageous)
- 2 years’ experience, with IFRS 9 exposure advantageous
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Advanced Excel, with SQL/Power BI/Python beneficial
