A reputable client is seeking a seasoned Credit Risk Analyst to provide expert insights into credit risk factors and investment decisions. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical abilities and a passion for navigating financial markets, risks, and trends. As the Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing detailed risk assessments, conducting due diligence, and making informed recommendations to senior management and committees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough due diligence and provide expert advice on credit risk for listed and unlisted investments.

• Prepare and present detailed risk assessment reports to inform decision-making processes.

• Monitor and report on investment risks at both the portfolio and asset levels.

• Stay updated on financial market trends to ensure accurate credit risk recommendations.

• Collaborate across teams to enhance risk management processes and optimize portfolio performance.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• A BCom Degree (Finance/Accounting), BSc (Actuarial/Mathematics), or related Commercial degree.

• Postgraduate qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are highly advantageous.

• At least 4 years' experience in credit risk assessment, particularly in Corporate and Project Finance deals.

• Strong knowledge of credit risk management techniques, financial modeling, and valuation methods.

• Excellent analytical, research, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with senior management and various teams.
