Job Title: Credit Controller Start Date: 2026-07-10 - 2026-08-09 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT003632 Sectors: Finance Location: Western Cape , CPT - Northern Suburbs Salary: R 216000 - R 240000 Annually Cost To Company Brief: Our client, a well-established and successful company within the textile and manufacturing sector, is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing debtor accounts and building strong customer relationships. Detail: Key Responsibilities Manage a debtor's book of approximately R5 million Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain strong debtor relationships Ensure customer orders are released within agreed credit terms Maintain and reconcile the age analysis Manage a large portfolio of COD customers (approximately 50% of sales) Process new credit applications, including credit bureau checks, trade reference checks and ensuring all required documentation is obtained Process credit notes accurately and timeously Assist with invoicing when required Update daily cash flow reports Prepare and submit weekly debtor reports to management Minimum Requirements Minimum 5 years' Credit Control experience Previous experience managing a debtor's book Working knowledge of Sage Evolution is essential Strong understanding of credit control processes and debt collection Excellent communication and negotiation skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage deadlines Please note only shortlisted candidate will be contacted show more...
