Credit Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit and financial risk assessments. • Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and key risk indicators to determine creditworthiness. • Identify transaction risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. • Prepare detailed and well-supported credit recommendations for approval. • Present structured credit submissions to relevant approval committees. • Assist in structuring transactions that balance commercial objectives with sound risk management principles. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver practical financing solutions. • Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and governance requirements. • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails. • Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required. • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of credit analysis standards and methodologies. Requirements Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, or a related discipline. • Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field will be advantageous. Experience

• 3-5 years' experience in agricultural credit analysis, commercial banking, or a related credit environment. • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment. • Experience evaluating farming operations, agricultural cash flows, and sector-specific risks. • Exposure to agricultural lending and client engagement. • Ability to structure and assess complex credit transactions. • Strong report writing and credit submission experience.
