Start free — we apply for you →Job Title: Credit Analyst Isando Start Date: 2026-08-31 - 2026-09-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000540 Sectors: Automotive Location: Gauteng , Isando Salary: Brief: Credit Analyst Isando Job Summary: The role is responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants by analysing financial information, identifying credit risks, preparing credit reports, and making recommendations on the approval, adjustment, extension, or closure of credit facilities. The position works closely with the credit committee and other financial specialists, ensures compliance with company lending policies and collateral requirements, conducts quality assurance reviews, monitors market trends, and assists with improving credit assessment criteria. The successful candidate should have strong analytical, Excel, communication, organisational, and relationship-management skills, together with 3–5 years' relevant credit or finance experience. Detail: Job Description: Gathers and analyses loan applicants' financial data to evaluate risk. Assesses creditworthiness of individuals, companies and institutions. Collaborates with other financial experts/ members of credit committee to approve or decline finance. Makes recommendations about whether to increase, adjust, extend or close lines of credit. Undertakes risk analysis using regional, sector-specific, environmental and other financial data. Prepares and presents credit reports. Completes quality assurance reviews. Aware of market trends Monitors and adheres to collateral compliance covenants. Ensures that all finance is concluded in adherence with company regulations. Analyse data to verify information. Helps to update and improve credit rating criteria Communicates credit decisions and policies to fellow employees and credit applicants Oversees or undertakes document preparation and checking Minimum Requirements: Matric or higher Degree or equivalent qualification in Business/Accounting/Finance/Credit Risk. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in similar role. Strong Software Skills (Advanced Excel) Code 8 licence Personal Attributes: Confident and proactive approach-anticipate issues and requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to form and maintain business relationships Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
