• Gathers and analyses loan applicants' financial data to evaluate risk. • Assesses creditworthiness of individuals, companies and institutions. • Collaborates with other financial experts/ members of credit committee to approve or decline finance. • Makes recommendations about whether to increase, adjust, extend or close lines of credit. Undertakes risk analysis using regional, sector-specific, environmental and other financial data. • Prepares and presents credit reports. • Completes quality assurance reviews. • Aware of market trends • Monitors and adheres to collateral compliance covenants. • Ensures that all finance is concluded in adherence with company regulations. • Analyse data to verify information. • Helps to update and improve credit rating criteria • Communicates credit decisions and policies to fellow employees and credit applicants • Oversees or undertakes document preparation and checking Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or higher
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business/Accounting/Finance/Credit Risk.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in similar role.
- Strong Software Skills (Advanced Excel)
- Code 8 licence
