Join a leading South African alternative investments manager, investing across private markets including private equity, infrastructure, real estate and credit. As a Credit Analyst in the private debt team, you will provide rigorous credit analysis that supports the origination, structuring, approval and ongoing monitoring of private credit investments on behalf of institutional and retail clients. Duties & Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or a related field (honours preferred)
- 2-6 years' experience in credit analysis, corporate or investment banking, private debt, structured finance or credit research
- Strong financial modelling and financial statement analysis skills (advanced Excel)
- Sound understanding of credit risk, debt structures, covenants and security packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce concise credit memos
