We are looking for a creative, confident and energetic Creative & Social Media Intern to join our team.
This is an all-round creative role for someone who enjoys social media, content creation, design, video and being in front of the camera.
We are looking for someone who can do more than simply schedule posts.
You will help us create content, manage social media platforms, produce reels, assist with graphic design and potentially become one of the faces of our brand online.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain real-world experience across social media, digital marketing, design and content creation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Assist with managing social media accounts across platforms such as
* TikTok
* YouTube Shorts
Responsibilities include
* Creating and preparing social media content.
* Scheduling posts.
* Writing captions.
* Researching trends.
* Finding relevant content ideas.
* Creating stories.
* Monitoring comments and messages.
* Engaging with audiences.
* Tracking basic social media performance.
* Helping develop monthly content calendars.
* Keeping up with current social media trends.
Content Creation & Reels
A major part of this role will be creating short-form content.
You will assist with
* Instagram Reels.
* TikTok videos.
* Facebook Reels.
* YouTube Shorts.
* Behind-the-scenes content.
* Educational videos.
* Trend-based content.
* Promotional videos.
* Company culture content.
* Client content where required.
You may be involved in
Concept → Script → Filming → Editing → Posting
You should be comfortable learning how to create content from start to finish.
Influencer / On-Camera Content
We are looking for someone who is comfortable in front of a camera.
You may be asked to
* Appear in social media videos.
* Present short videos.
* Explain products or services.
* Record educational content.
* Participate in trends.
* Create behind-the-scenes content.
* Interview team members.
* Interview clients or business owners.
* Represent the brand at events.
* Help create personality-driven content.
You do not need to be a professional influencer.
What matters is that you are
* Confident.
* Natural.
* Energetic.
* Comfortable speaking.
* Willing to experiment.
* Comfortable being recorded.
Graphic Design
You will also assist with creating visual content.
This may include
* Social media posts.
* Instagram carousels.
* Stories.
* Advertisements.
* Promotional graphics.
* Event graphics.
* Presentation graphics.
* Basic branding materials.
* Thumbnails.
* Website graphics.
Experience with the following will be advantageous
* Canva.
* Adobe Photoshop.
* Adobe Illustrator.
* Figma.
Strong design skills are not required at entry level — we want someone who is creative and willing to learn.
Video Editing
Assist with editing short-form videos.
This may include
* Cutting footage.
* Adding captions.
* Adding music.
* Adding transitions.
* Adding graphics.
* Creating hooks.
* Formatting videos for different platforms.
* Repurposing existing content.
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar software is advantageous.
Content Ideas
We want someone who brings ideas to the table.
You should be able to look at a brand and think
"We could make a Reel about this."
You will assist with
* Content brainstorming.
* Trend research.
* Competitor research.
* Social media trend identification.
* Campaign ideas.
* Creative concepts.
* Content hooks.
* Video ideas.
* Engagement ideas.
You should not always wait for someone to tell you what to post.
Photography & Filming
Assist with basic photography and video production for
* Social media.
* Team content.
* Events.
* Behind-the-scenes content.
* Client projects.
* Products.
* Office content.
A smartphone with a good camera is sufficient to get started.
Knowledge of lighting, framing and basic filming techniques will be advantageous.
General Digital Support
Because this is an all-rounder position, you may also assist with
* Website content.
* Blog content.
* Basic website updates.
* Email marketing content.
* Marketing campaigns.
* Research.
* Content organisation.
* Client content preparation.
* Digital marketing projects.
You will get exposure to different areas of the business rather than being restricted to one task.
