Courier Consultant - Randburg

Introduction

Are you passionate about Airfreight ? My client specialises in the smaller international courier type  Airfreight  (Import + Export) shipments.

Preference will be given to  South Africans who are fluent in Afrikaans . Any prior experience working with Airfreight will be an advantage, however, it is not compulsory, training will be provided.

Employment Type =  full-time, based at the office in Randburg .

Duties & Responsibilities

• Track shipments daily, and update Customers on the status of their shipments

• Deal with/resolve problems with shipments pro-actively

• Do  cold calling , and book good quality appointments telephonically for your Manager to attend. Training will be provided to you

• Constructively seek new clients and opportunities to expand the client base

• Do quotations for clients, and book International Shipments via Air Freight for clients

• Develop and maintain customer relationships with existing customers/partners

• Constantly demonstrating and living the Company Values

• Ability to use your own initiative required

• Various Admin duties, and various Customer Service/Support duties

• Meet targets and fit in with our small team

Desired Experience & Qualification

• MUST SPEAK, READ AND WRITE AFRIKAANS - NON NEGOTIABLE

• Must have passed Grade 12 (Matric)

• Good track record with Sales + Customer Service

• Strong Communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Results orientated

• Great “Attention to detail”

Package & Remuneration

• Take home total Nett Salary (includes basic + incentives): R11 500.00 - R14 500.00 Per Month
