A prestigious and well-established vineyard in the heart of Franschhoek is seeking a highly analytical Costing Analyst to join their finance team. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor product costing models across vineyard and production operations.

• Analyse production, operational, and manufacturing costs to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analyses for management.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Assist in the development and implementation of costing policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, or a related field.

• CIMA qualification or studies towards CIMA will be highly advantageous.

• Minimum 3 years' experience

• Experience within agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, wine production, or a production-driven environment will be advantageous.

• Strong understanding of costing principles, inventory management, and financial analysis.
