The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock movements, procurement controls, inventory reconciliations, cost analysis, and reporting to support profitability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee stock management and inventory control processes • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory movements • Investigate stock variances, losses, and discrepancies • Verify supplier deliveries and ensure accurate invoice processing • Perform purchase order, delivery note, and invoice reconciliations • Monitor stock levels to minimise wastage and shrinkage • Calculate and analyse food and beverage cost percentages • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports • Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvements • Maintain recipe costing and monitor portion control compliance • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities • Ensure compliance with internal controls, procurement policies, and audit requirements • Collaborate with operational teams to improve profitability and efficiency Job Experience and Skills Required:
• Degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or related qualification • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a similar Cost Controller, Stock Controller, or Finance role • Hospitality and/or manufacturing industry experience is essential • Strong stock management and stock control experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Experience working with Micros POS • Infor HOS experience beneficial • Sage X3 experience beneficial • Strong financial and analytical skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to investigate variances and identify cost-saving opportunities • Strong organisational and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Apply now!
