Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and monitor production and operational costs across mining operations.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and profitability assessments.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor and report on cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Conduct inventory and stock analyses where applicable.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education
- BCom Accounting
- BCom Honours in Accounting
Experience
- 3-4 years' experience in a Cost Accountant or Management Accountant role.
- Previous experience within mining, heavy industry, engineering, or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in costing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
