Qualifications & Experience
- Education: CIMA Qualified; B.Com degree required. Additional certification in Costing modules is advantageous.
- Experience: 3–6 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing (preferably pharmaceutical, CMO/CDMO, or process industries).
- Hands-on exposure to batch costing, standard costing, and inventory valuation in regulated environments is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of standard costing, absorption costing, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with GMP documentation (BMR/BPR) for cost and yield data.
- ERP proficiency (ACS Embrace advantageous).
- Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI/Power Query exposure is a plus.
- Knowledge of cost accounting standards and inventory accounting policies.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with Production, QA, and Supply Chain.
- Clear communication skills to explain cost variances to non-finance stakeholders.
- Compliance-driven mindset with attention to audit readiness.
- Deadline-oriented and flexible to work additional hours when required.
