Controller: Vehicle Stock - Ford Kempton Park

About the Role

• We are seeking a Detail-Oriented Controller for our Vehicle Stock department at Ford Kempton Park. In this key role, you will focus on managing inventory processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and optimizing stock levels to support our operations and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle stock management processes, including receiving, tracking, and inventory control.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of vehicle stock levels and movements.
• Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs effectively.
• Conduct regular audits of vehicle stock to maintain accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Develop and implement efficient inventory management practices to optimize vehicle availability.
• Provide insights and analysis on stock-related issues to senior management.
• Lead and train the vehicle stock team to uphold high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and receipt of vehicular inventory.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in inventory management or stock control, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce reports.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience with automotive stock management systems will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to vehicle inventory management.
• Certification in project management or inventory control is a plus.
