- Be in possession of NQF level 4 /Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
- Have PSIRA Grade C registration
- Have a Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Security Control Room within a mining environment
- Have a Valid Code EB drivers license with proven ability to operate a vehicle
- Be Computer literate and have a sound knowledge of all MS Office Suites
- Have strong observation and situational awareness abilities to detect irregularities, breaches and risks
- Have the ability to communicate clearly in English verbal and written
- Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain focus in high-risk environments
- Must be able to work independently and within a team on rotational shifts
- Successfully undergo a screening and verification process, as well as credit and criminal record check must be willing to undergo periodic and random polygraph examinations and achieve a no deception results
- Be declared medically fit for the position, as determined by a risk-based examination conducted at a Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Center
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively utilize Control Room systems CCTV, alarms, communication platforms to identify and respond to incidents
- Monitor and operate all Control Room systems to detect security risks and procedural breaches
- Identify and escalate incidents, providing accurate, real time intelligence to response teams
- Maintain clear and effective communication to ensure the safety of responding personnel
- Perform duties on a daily rotating shift basis morning, day, afternoon, night
- Guide response teams, providing real time updates to enhance response safety and improve arrest potential
- Document incidents accurately and maintain records according to company procedures
- Ensure compliance with all Protection Services standards, policies, and operational protocols
