The Training Facilitator equips employees with the knowledge and skills required to perform effectively in an operational service environment. The role supports training delivery by using operational insights, learner feedback, and performance trends to identify learning needs and deliver practical training interventions for teams and individuals.
The role facilitates training sessions, coaching, and learner evaluations to support employee readiness and consistent operational performance. It also supports content updates, knowledge-sharing resources, and continuous improvement activities in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Maintain high-quality standards for training to support effective employee development and service delivery.
Align training activities with operational goals and portfolio priorities.
Use suitable training methodologies and tools to improve learning effectiveness.
Conduct training needs analyses in collaboration with relevant operational and leadership stakeholders.
Ensure training materials are accurate, current, and aligned to applicable standards and processes.
Assess training effectiveness through learner feedback, assessments, and operational observations.
Identify learners who may require additional support and escalate concerns where appropriate.
Facilitate training for new starters, new processes, and operational initiatives.
Identify knowledge and skill gaps and recommend practical learning interventions.
Provide feedback and training insights to support continuous improvement.
Coordinate training logistics, schedules, materials, attendance records, and learner feedback.
Support the development and maintenance of training plans for roles within the portfolio.
Maintain training content and learning resources using relevant systems and platforms.
Research learning and development practices to enhance training quality and outcomes.
Facilitate online and in-person learning sessions that support a positive learning environment.
Develop or administer assessments to confirm learner understanding and readiness.
What you’ll bring
Diploma in Communications, Learning and Development, or a related field is essential. Relevant certifications or accreditations will be advantageous.
1-2 years’ experience in training facilitation, learning support, or training delivery within an operational or service-focused environment (essential).
Demonstrable experience in operational development needs of large teams and achieving improved service levels (essential).
Experience using assessments, feedback, and operational information to identify learning needs and support targeted training interventions (essential).
Familiarity with training design and development templates and toolkits (essential).
Proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly intermediate Excel skills (essential).
We value practical learning experiences and relevant experience may be considered where formal qualifications are not held.

Able to compile visual training materials and aids that tells a concise and compelling story and elicits confidence in the learning and development process.
Collaborative partner - Works effectively across functions and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Is collaborative and able to build sound, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and under tight time constraints, efficiently prioritising workloads, balancing multiple and competing priorities and managing time effectively in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. Enjoys challenging work and has the proven ability to effectively adapt to and manage change.
Is curious and adaptable, finds agile and rapid ways of answering business questions and implementing solutions fast. Plays an integral role in building the Customer Services learning & development muscle, constantly finding ways to leverage opportunities.
High level of self-motivation and drive to meet and exceed on goals and expectations and engage and energise others to deliver on expectations. Comfortable taking decisions and dealing with a range of problem-solving challenges independently.
