Job Description

• Oversee multiple active asphalt surfacing, road milling, and rehabilitation contracts across the region.
• Guide and support Site Agents, surfacing supervisors, and paving teams to hit project deadlines.
• Coordinate supply programs with asphalt batch plants to maintain continuous paver laying speeds.
• Manage monthly payment certificates, contract variation claims, and project budgets under standard GCC contracts.
• Ensure paving operations strictly comply with COLTO, SANRAL, and road engineering quality standards.
• Allocate specialized pavers, milling machines, rollers, and transport fleets to maximize daily productivity.
• Maintain professional working relationships with consulting engineers, client representatives, and road authorities.

What You Need to Apply

• BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Ten to fifteen years of civil road construction and asphalt surfacing project experience.
• At least five years of proven experience operating at Contracts Manager or Senior Site Agent level.
• Strong track record delivering major SANRAL, provincial, or municipal highway paving contracts.
• In-depth commercial understanding of GCC contracts, project costing, and variation claim management.
• Professional registration with any of SACPCMP (Pr CM) or ECSA (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng) is highly advantageous.
• A positive attitude, inspiring leadership approach, and a strong commitment to team success.
