About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Contract Manager – Security to take responsibility for the effective management and delivery of a key security contract within the automation and manufacturing sector . This is a hands-on, client-facing management position suited to an individual with proven experience in security contract management , strong operational leadership capabilities, and a sound understanding of compliance, client service and people management. Applicants must meet the following mandatory requirements: a recognised 3-year Diploma at NQF Level 6 (or equivalent), Grade 12/Matric, Grade A PSiRA registration, 4–8 years’ relevant security contract management experience, and a clear criminal record, which will be subject to verification as part of the recruitment process. Duties & Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the overall performance and delivery of the security contract.

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client and maintain a strong, professional working relationship.

• Conduct regular client performance, operational and SLA review meetings.

• Lead, manage and motivate security personnel to ensure high standards of discipline, performance and service delivery.

• Manage staff performance, attendance, absenteeism, leave, rosters and general workforce requirements.

• Monitor contract profitability, budgets, wage costs and operational expenses.

• Maintain and manage asset registers and ensure company assets are properly controlled.

• Ensure full compliance with PSiRA requirements, labour legislation, OHS and health & safety standards .

• Ensure incidents are properly investigated, reported and followed up.

• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventative measures.

• Resolve client queries and operational challenges promptly and professionally.

• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and operational standards.

• Support client retention and identify opportunities for additional business and service growth.

• Ensure all contractual and operational requirements are consistently met.

What you’ll need

• A 3-year Diploma, registered at NQF Level 6 – mandatory.

• Grade 12 / Matric – mandatory.

• Grade A PSiRA certification – mandatory

• 4–8 years’ proven experience in security contract management.

• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle – essential.

• South African citizenship

• Clear criminal record – mandatory.
