Leading HSEQ, Food Safety, Risk and legal compliance. Required Qualifications: Relevant Degree essential - SHEQ, Environmental, Operations Management or similar. Honours and Masters advantageous. SHEQ and Risk Certifications advantageous 8-10 years SHEQ / Compliance / Risk in a processing or manufacturing Detail: Technical competencies & Experience: Strong knowledge of SA SHEQ management and legislation - at least 3 years at management level. Manage integrated Management system (IMS). Manage audits, legal register, risk register, incident investigation and CAPA close-out. Statutory reporting & liaison with regulators, customers and external auditors. Oversee outsourced functions - Security, Cleaning, Waste, Fire Services and manage OPEX & CAPEX budgets. Site access control, inductions, contractor files, and dispatch audits to prevent fraud. Drive ESG, sustainability, climate-resilience & LEAN initiatives. Behavioral Competencies: Strong leadership, team coaching and people development. High integrity, ethics and attention to detail. Analytical, excellent auditing, problem-solving and project management. Stakeholder engagement at all levels & excellent communication. Able to work under pressure & meet deadines.
