Job Title: Commercial Vehicle (Trucks) Parts Sales Executive – Kempton Park Start Date: 2026-07-23 - 2026-09-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000893 Sectors: *Dealership Location: Gauteng , Kempton Park Salary: Brief: Remuneration: R15 000 + Incentive + Medical aid + Provident fund Purpose Of The Job: Established Commercial Vehicle Depot requires a Commercial Vehicle (Trucks) Sales Executive to join their busy parts department. Key purpose of this vacancy will be to maximize sales of truck parts by developing and maintaining strong relationships with fleet operators, workshops, transport companies, owner-drivers, and retail customers. The Parts Sales Executive identifies customer needs, promotes products and services, achieves sales targets, and contributes to business growth and customer satisfaction. Ideal Candidate Profile A highly motivated sales professional with strong truck parts knowledge, excellent customer relationship skills, and a proven ability to grow sales within the commercial vehicle and transport industry. Detail: Key Responsibilities: Generate and achieve monthly sales targets for truck parts Promote OEM and aftermarket parts to increase revenue and market share Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet managers, workshop managers, transport operators, and key decision-makers Provide professional product advice and technical assistance to customers Resolve customer queries, complaints, and service issues efficiently Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention Parts Sales Administration Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately Monitor order status and follow up on deliveries Ensure accurate pricing, discounts, and customer account management Maintain customer records and sales activity reports in the CRM system Product Knowledge Maintain in-depth knowledge of truck parts Keep informed of new product launches, competitor activities, and industry trends Assist customers in identifying the correct parts using catalogues, VIN numbers, and electronic parts systems Inventory & Stock Support Liaise with parts warehouse and procurement teams regarding stock availability Assist in demand forecasting and stock planning Promote slow-moving and excess stock where appropriate Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric 3-5 years' experience in truck parts sales Valid driver's licence Preferred Experience Experience selling truck parts for brands such as Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Iveco, Hino, Isuzu, DAF, UD Trucks Experience working with fleet customers and transport companies Knowledge of parts cataloguing systems and ERP software Key Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills Strong understanding of commercial vehicle components and systems Parts identification and cataloguing knowledge Quotation and negotiation skills CRM and ERP system proficiency Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Sales Skills Relationship management Customer service excellence Personal Attributes Self-motivated and target-driven Strong communication and interpersonal skills Results-oriented Professional and customer-focused Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
