We are a fast-growing national retailer looking for a sharp, analytical, and grounded individual to join our head office operations team. Working under the direct mentorship of senior leadership, you will learn the core operational and commercial engines of our business—including store operational systems, internal audit controls, lease agreements, and logistical problem-solving—with a long-term growth path into operational management as you master the job responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Investigation & Support: Investigate branch operational bottlenecks, analyze root causes, and execute scalable solutions across our national store network.
Commercial & Lease Administration: Assist with retail lease reviews, landlord correspondence, and store rollout planning.
Internal Controls & Audits: Develop, monitor, and audit operational systems to ensure error-free stock, cash, and procedural compliance.
Management Support & Projects: Handle high-impact operational and analytical projects under the direct guidance and mentorship of senior leadership.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Completed (or final-year) BCom / Business / Logistics qualification, OR 1–2 years of practical experience in retail operations, commercial coordination, pricing/inventory admin, or auditing.
High numerical aptitude and strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional eye for detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in operational data immediately.
High energy, self-starter mindset with strong commercial curiosity.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Education: Matric / Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics (Mathematical Literacy will not be considered).
Languages: Full professional fluency in both Afrikaans and English (speaking, reading, and business writing).
Mobility: Valid driver’s licence and own reliable personal transport for daily commuting to Epping 2, Cape Town
Package & Remuneration
R16,000 CTC per month (with a formal performance and salary review at 6 months)
