A well-established organisation is looking for a Pricing Analyst to support commercial decision-making through pricing analysis, cost evaluation and supplier negotiations.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work closely with key stakeholders, analyse cost drivers and help ensure pricing decisions support both competitiveness and profitability. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- BComm
- 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Proven experience in pricing, costing or commercial analysis
- Experience within mining is essential
- Strong understanding of cost drivers and pricing structures
- Experience with supplier negotiations
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities
Responsibilities
- Analyse pricing structures, cost drivers and market-related factors
- Develop and maintain pricing models and supporting analysis
- Evaluate cost movements and their impact on pricing and profitability
- Identify opportunities to optimise pricing and improve margins
- Conduct detailed costing and pricing analysis to support commercial decisions
- Engage with suppliers and support supplier negotiations
- Monitor pricing trends and provide insights to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations and commercial teams
- Prepare reports and recommendations to support pricing strategies
- Identify pricing risks, variances and opportunities for improvement
