My client is a high-volume manufacturer of home decor, wearing apparel and safety wear and require the services of a coded welder or boiler maker with experience in MIG, TIG and ARC welding for maintenance, repairs and fabrication.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Proven experience in ARC, MIG and TIG welding
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication work in a manufacturing environment
- Perform maintenance-welding, repairs, fabrication and general steelwork.
- Read and interpret drawings and measurements
- Able to use welding, cutting and shaping techniques to form and join metal parts
- Perform planned maintenance, repairs and shutdown work
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Work overtime,shifts and perform stand-by as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Trade tested and qualified Welder or Boilermaker
- Coded welder advantageous
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
