Job Title: Code EC (Code 14) Driver Start Date: 2026-07-02 - 2026-07-31 Vacancy Type: Permanent CPT002295 Sectors: Logistics Location: Western Cape , Strand Salary: Brief: Our client is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced Code EC (Code 14) Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations, company policies, and customer delivery requirements. This role requires a professional driver with a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer-focused approach. Detail: Key Responsibilities Safely operate articulated vehicles with a (GCM) exceeding 16 tonnes. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects. Transport goods to designated destinations safely and on schedule. Ensure all cargo is securely loaded, transported and delivered in accordance with safety regulations. Complete delivery documentation accurately and obtain proof of delivery. Comply with all road traffic legislation and company safety procedures. Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements promptly. Provide excellent customer service during collections and deliveries. Adhere to company policies regarding vehicle operation, fuel usage and route planning. Minimum Requirements Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver's licence . Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) . Proven experience driving articulated vehicles with a (GCM) exceeding 16 tonnes . Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations. Knowledge of South African road regulations. Ability to complete vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Willingness to work overtime, weekends and travel long distances when required. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3–5 years' experience operating heavy articulated vehicles. Experience transporting general freight & large consumer products.
