 • Conduct Code 14 (EC) driver training and assessments
 • Deliver classroom-based and in-cab practical instruction
 • Train on defensive driving, load security, and HazMat/ADR procedures
 • Identify skills gaps and develop individual training plans
 • Maintain accurate learner records and training documentation
 • Coach drivers on fuel-efficient and eco-driving techniques
 • Conduct vehicle pre-trip inspection training and checklists
 • Assist with incident investigations and refresher programmes
 
 Minimum Requirements 
 
 • Valid Code 14 (EC) driver's license — minimum 5 years' experience
 • SETA-accredited Assessor and/or Moderator certification
 • PDP (Professional Driving Permit) — current and valid
 • Dangerous Goods / ADR certificate advantageous
 • Formal Driver Trainer qualification 
 • Strong knowledge of road traffic legislation and safety standards
 • Proficient in English; additional languages an advantage
 • Clean criminal record and good disciplinary history
 • Computer literacy — MS Office, basic LMS/reporting tools
