Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Code 10 Truck Driver to join their distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of FMCG products to customers while maintaining excellent service standards and ensuring all delivery procedures are followed.

This role requires a responsible individual with strong driving experience, good knowledge of delivery routes, and the ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Code 10 ton truck safely and responsibly.

• Deliver FMCG products to customers, retailers, and distribution points.

• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

• Complete delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and proof of delivery.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.

• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage during loading, transportation, and offloading.

• Assist with loading and offloading of goods when required.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with customers.

• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.

• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and compliance with company standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence .

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) advantageous/required.

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience driving a truck in an FMCG, wholesale, or distribution environment.

• Experience delivering food products or fast-moving consumer goods will be advantageous.

• Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas.

• Clear criminal record.

• Excellent driving record with strong road safety awareness.

• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading.

• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

• Good communication skills and customer service ability.
