Our client is looking for an energetic, and physically fit Code 10 Driver with a valid PDP to join their operations team in Montague Gardens. This is a hands-on role that combines driving with warehouse support, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and being part of a fast-moving environment.
The person will be responsible for the loading, distribution, transportation and delivery of goods to the customer by ensuring that: the correct products are delivered on time / to the correct customer and
location / and at the correct temperature.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate company vehicles (Code 10) to transport food and meat products by monitoring and maintaining the correct refrigeration truck temperatures to keep meat and food products fresh during transit, pickups, and returns.
• Load and unload deliveries at various locations
• Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, and organizing stock
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to schedule
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
• Maintain delivery documentation and records
• Support general warehouse operations when not on delivery
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP and a clean driving record
• Minimum 1–2 years of driving experience preferred in the food and/or meat industry with experience in monitoring and maintaining the correct refrigeration truck temperatures
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy packages
• Energetic and willing to assist with warehouse duties
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with local routes and delivery procedures
Package & Remuneration
R9 000 to R9 700 per month ctc.
