We are looking for a reliable, hardworking driver and flexible CODE 10 Driver to join our Cape Town operations team.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Deliver Customer orders safely, accurately and on time
-Load and off load deliveries
-Check orders and delivery documentation
-Take responsibility for the assigned vehicle and report any issues
-Assist with general warehouse duties when not out on deliveries
-Support receiving, despatch, picking, packing and other operational duties when required
-Occasionally assist with transporting staff when requested particularly where employees are working overtime
-Carry out reasonable work-related instrustionds from supervisors and management
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
The position requires flexibility regarding working hours. Overtime will be required when operationally necessary including completing deliveries that extend beyond normal working hours.
The successful candidate must be willing to work reasonable overtime when requested and,from time to time assist with transporting staff working oevrtime.
Overtime will be compensated in accordance with company policy and applicable labour legislation.
Desired Experience & Qualification
*Valid code 10 drivers license
-Valid Prdp
-Proven proffessional driving experience
-Good Knowledge of cape town and surrounding areas
-Good and responsible driving record
-Physically capable of assisting with laoding and offloading
-Reliable, punctual and responsible
-Good Communication and customer service skills
-Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
-Willing to assist warehouse and other responsible operational duties when not driving
-Flexible regarding overtime when operationally required
Package & Remuneration
Remuneration :R10 000 - R15 000 CTC per month, including company benefits and profident fund depending on experience.
