The hiring team is specifically looking for candidates who understand networking from first principles and who can operate comfortably in complex cloud and hybrid environments.
Key Requirements
- Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, network architecture, network security)
- Experience in traditional on-premises networking environments and/or hybrid cloud environments
- Strong AWS experience, particularly AWS networking services
- Experience with:
- VPCs
- Transit Gateways
- VPNs
- Direct Connect
- Hybrid connectivity
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues beyond standard runbooks.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorisation protocols such as:
- Active Directory
- LDAP
- Kerberos
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- SAML
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation • Kubernetes, containers and cloud-native technologies Ideal Backgrounds:
- Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
- Telecommunications organisations
- Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Enterprise networking teams
- Network architecture environments
- Network security teams
- Infrastructure engineering teams
- Cloud networking roles
