Our Client operates globally, supporting large-scale infrastructure and technology platforms that require high availability, strong governance, and continuous optimisation. Their IT function plays a critical role in delivering secure, scalable cloud and data centre solutions across multiple regions. You will be joining a team focused on modern cloud engineering, where Azure, DevOps, and containerisation are not just tools-but core to how the business operates. The environment combines enterprise complexity with modern engineering practices, giving you exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes • Develop and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes • Architect and support hybrid and multi-cloud environments • Ensure security, networking, and compliance across cloud and on-prem environments • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud performance and cost efficiency • Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400)
- 4+ years' experience in cloud engineering, with strong Azure exposure
- Proven experience in DevOps environments and automation practices
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale cloud environments
- Strong Azure expertise (compute, networking, storage, security)
- Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Containerisation experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, routing)
- Scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
