To attend to electrical and mechanical maintenance on medical/diagnostic equipment in hospitals and installations of suction units while ensuring that all individual tasks as set out by the Technical Manager is completed accurately and on time
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
- To keep all planned maintenance and ad-hoc jobs up to date.
- To collect and deliver parts or equipment.
- Performing day to day maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule.
- Complete maintenance tasks up to administration level.
- Performing fault finding
- Performing site inspections at hospitals
- Be prepared to work overtime, standby and nightshift should the occasion arise.
Other
- You may be asked to assist in duties outside of the above mentioned due to operational requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required
- N6 + Trade test Certificate or equivalent electrical qualification
• Relevant Experience would be an advantage
Skills
- Fault Finding (Electrical and mechanical)
- Basic computer skills.
Must have
- A valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- Own vehicle
