A leading healthcare solutions provider is seeking a Clinical Engineer with strong medical equipment sales expertise . This hybrid role combines technical engineering skills with commercial acumen, requiring a professional who can both service and install complex medical devices while driving sales growth. The role is comprised of 80% servicing of existing clients, while 20% expected in terms of new sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and marketing of medical equipment and devices, including tender management .
- Installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of ventilators , monitors, CTG, theatre lights, and other medical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance , breakdown troubleshooting, and acceptance testing in line with manufacturer standards.
- Deliver user training and technical support to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain inventory of installed equipment across public and private healthcare sectors.
- Ensure compliance with safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare quotes, manage customer accounts , and meet annual sales targets .
Requirements
- Degree in Clinical Engineering (must have)
- Crice Certification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical devices/equipment servicing and sales .
- Strong working knowledge of ventilators , monitors, CTG, and theatre lights .
- Proven ability to balance engineering responsibilities with sales targets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport essential
