- Basic nursing diploma/degree as a professional nurse registered with South African Nursing Council. Knowledge of all legislation relevant to health care service. Have a minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional nurse with SANC in general nursing. Current SANC registration.
Duties
- Coordinates, investigate, Management and reporting of complaints and Patient Safety Incidences in the institution, monitoring of waiting times. Ensuring the compliance to Ideal Hospital Realisation Maintenance Framework. OHSC preparation. Provide initiative to improve client satisfaction, facilitate training on Quality Assurance and participate in Clinical Audit.
- Incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Area Manager in his/her area of all allocation. Adherence to the principles of nursing practice according to the scope of practice, all quality assurance standards as well as set rules and standards of nursing in his/her area. Promotion of professionalism and always leading by example.
- Co-ordination of activities of other health team members. Adherence to the principles of nursing practise according to the scope of practice, all quality assurance standards as well as set rules and standards of nursing in his/her area.
